Santillana del Mar is a town with great tourist destination blessed by its beauty being a municipality in the autonomous community of Cantabria. Located on the west coast between the municipalities of Cantabria Suances, Torrelavega, Alfoz of Lloreda and Reocín.

This small town is one of the most important tourist attractions throughout the region and home to the Altamira Cave considered the “Sistine Chapel” of rock art, and the Collegiate.

With all this, joins Santillana Zoo, one of the most beautiful of all Spanish geography with all the animals you can imagine.

It’s a Zoo is open every day of the year, from 9.30 am until dusk.

To get here is very simple, if you come from Puente San Miguel, on the A-8, just before the left to Santillana is a zoo.
